Marinas26 International Conference and Trade Exhibition - Marinas26 will take place at the Royal Pines Resort, Gold Coast, Queensland, from Sunday evening, 24 May to Wednesday, 27 May 2026. The event will commence with a Welcome Function on Sunday evening, followed by two full days of conference sessions and a trade exhibition on Monday 25 and Tuesday 26 May. The program will conclude on Wednesday 27 May with a dedicated Facility Study Tour.
Hosted biennially by the Marina Industries Association, Marinas26 is a premier event that attracts over 380 marina owners, operators, and industry suppliers. It offers delegates an unparalleled opportunity to engage directly with suppliers, explore the latest products and services, network with peers, and stay ahead of emerging trends, innovations, and regulatory changes shaping the marina industry. Marinas26 is ideally scheduled to follow the 2026 Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show, allowing delegates to conveniently attend both events as part of a single visit to the Gold Coast.
The theme for Marinas26 is Future Smart and reflects the rapid transformation of the marina industry driven by technology, sustainability, and changing customer expectations. Marinas are evolving from being purely berthing facilities to becoming sophisticated hubs that integrate digital systems, innovative design, and environmental responsibility. A "smart" marina of the future will use data, automation, and connected services to deliver seamless experiences for boaters, improve operational efficiency, and maximise environmental outcomes.
This theme highlights how embracing new technologies – from energy management and renewable infrastructure to AI-powered customer service and predictive maintenance – will help marinas stay competitive, resilient and profitable. It also recognises that being “smart” also incorporates forward-thinking strategies, collaboration, and future-proof planning. By exploring this theme, the conference will encourage marina operators, developers, and suppliers to anticipate industry shifts, share knowledge, and lead innovation to ensure a thriving, sustainable future for boating communities worldwide.
